WorleyParsons: Structural CAD Designer

WorleyParsons is a leading provider of professional services to the energy, resources and complex processes industries. WorleyParsons is currently recruiting for a Structural CAD Designer. Ideal candidate will be hold a HND, Diploma or Certified course in the Engineering discipline (or related field) and a minimum 5 years design experience in discipline design with reputed engineering consultancies. Proficiency in utilizing PC and CAD, as well as knowledge of the capabilities and efficiencies, of specific computer software to complete design assignments. Position Summary: To develop and update drawings and support lead designer, lead engineer and drafting co-ordinator towards completion of projects and achieving organizational objectives. Major Duties and Responsibilities Assist supervisors for development design concepts Supervise CAD operators for development of detail drawing Assist supervisors for development of design of facilities, system and equipment related to discplines (i.e. Structural, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Mapping) Study client/project CAD & design procedures and standards Work closely with lead engineer, lead designer and drafting co-ordinator to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to work, production requirement or productivity Co-ordinate other discipline designers for development of design drawings Other Skills Diploma or certified courses in draughting and design Minimum 5 years design experience in discipline design with reputed engineering consultancies Proficiency in utilizing PC and CAD, as well as knowledge of the capabilities and efficiencies, of specific computer software to complete design assignments. A thorough working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD softwares (AutoCAD, Microstation etc.) Knowledge of industry codes ad standards Ability to work in dual units (English and SI) is a requirement Adaptability to client CADD procedures and standards How to Apply Apply by uploading your CV on our CV Database.
